This image was inspired by the femme fatales of the film ‘Sin City’, and specifically the character Wendy, who seeks revenge upon the person who killed her twin sister ‘Goldie’. Within this painting I wanted to convey a real sense of emotion from the character. She is strong, fiery, yet vulnerable and broken, which ultimately makes her deadly because she has nothing to lose.
